Hello Happy Wednesday! I had a excursion with my time at Barnes & Noble. Who doesn’t like reading books or in my case fashion magazines! In this Fashion Industry for Bloggers, it’s all about knowing all the latest fashion and trends, the best designers, networking, and fashion shows….you can only find that in Fashion Magazines. For me fashion magazines are like a book that I can’t stop putting down…hahaha. When I get People Style Watch new issue in the mail, I really want to jump up and down of excitement. Instead,I run to my room browsing and looking at the magazine for hours until I have studied it. Truly, I love how they layout the different looks you can try. In my head, it allows me to start thinking how to create that same outfit, but wearing it my WAY!?!?!
Even though, I love reading fashion magazines, you can definitely get any sort of book in Barnes & Noble from cooking, mystery to even drama. Regardless of what book you like Knowledge is Power!

Hello Happy Wednesday! My house was filled with people celebrating of your return. Something happened, did I say something that made everyone leave? I saw your friend and I knew you were near. I keep looking and looking for you, Where are you? I wanted to shout out at your name, cause I seriously wanted to find you! I just gave up and started to walk back into my house.
As I looked back, you appeared, like you literally have been sitting on my driveway the whole time. I started to come closer you were ready to leave.
I said to you, ” Where are you going, your not going to say goodbye?”
You grab me closer to you, he says “We’re going to try this out you and me. Your going to talk to me and see where this goes”. Of course I’m always trying to fight him, I said if I don’t try, what are you going to do”. He looks at me saying nothing and walks away.
Man, I thought this was real turns out this was my DREAM..Don’t you hate that?…hahaha
My dreams are totally like a soap opera, I thought he was going to get on one knee and propose finally. You want something so bad to happen just never turns out that way. No, he just has to walk away like an end to a scene in a movie, crazy?!?!
I hope you tune in next month for my real Dream Series Part 2!

I think Valentine’s Day should be everyday to show the one’s you love, how much they mean to us. We might think Valentine’s Day should be just for our boyfriend/girlfriends, who says that you can’t spend it with your closes friends.  If you would like to show your friends some love by taking these great Valentine’s Day ideas for your gal/guy friends during the Day:
1. Take A Wine Tour– Spend a day at a local wine vineyard. There so much fun, last year I went with best gal friends to wine tour. They let you try different wines that they make. Some helpful tips in tasting wines, it consisted of
1 pour wine 2. smell wine 3. swirl wine 4. half taste wine 5. you drink wine or just gobble it
Wine tours are fun they allow you to bond while drinking some tasty wine.
2. Take A Cooking Class: I know this can not be fun, if your not fond of cooking. It’s great to come together with your best gal/guy friends try out a new recipe. I like experimenting with new recipes, it definitely adds to my recipe book in my head. It’s good to try something new with your gal/guy friends,it totally creates memories that you talk about for many years to come.
3.Have A SPA Day: Who loves to relax and talk all day about nothing…hahaha. Than you should definitely take a spa day with with your best gal/guy friends to enjoy some peace and relaxation for a day. What a like about spa’s you can get the works with a massage, facial, or your nails done.
4. House Party or Going Out: Maybe you have to work all day for Valentine’s Day. You should definitely meet-up at a nice bar or restaurant with your closes friends. This is great way not to spend alot of money on gifts just reserve a table to enjoy great food and each others company.
5.Photo taking and Upload to Social Media: Spend a day in the city, neighborhood, museum, etc by taking photos with your closes friends to capture memories. Don’t forget to upload photos on  Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Have fun this Valentines Day to whomever you love the most today!
See you next time!

HAPPY WEDNESDAY! NY fashion week is coming to an end, but a full week of fashion is the place to be. I had a uber fun time at Small Boutique Fashion Week! My excitement was actually wearing my own design a full skirt that I made especially for the show! I added leather and spiked embellishments to my skirt to give it a rocker vibe. I went with a black/white theme with a twist of African vintage Hollywood. Do you like this skirt?

I can’t wait for next year to attend fashion week with full week of African looks designed by line called Apar10. Fashion Week see you next year!

See you next time!

Hello Happy Monday! Saturday I attended Small Boutique Fashion Week. Small Boutique is one of the top 5 most popular Fashion shows opened to the public. It was so worth going to the show to networking with other bloggers, designers, and small boutique owners. I was able to connect with a few people, if your fashion blogger you want to be successful you must network and network. This has allowed me some great opportunities with selling my brand. Well anyway enough about me, let’s talk about the my fan favorites from the show:

Hello Happy Wednesday! Vintage is been around for centuries and has become a distinctive style worn around the world. I love how vintage circle and A-line skirts just have this sophisticated polish vibe. Ultimately, vintage styles have developed especially tops and dresses with a 40s inspired style.
Today, I’m wearing a Via Gypset vintage dress. Even though, it’s covering me up it still fits me in the right places. Many consignment shops like Via Gypset have vintage pieces that are simply and on trend.  Looking for the perfect vintage pieces is not hard. Keep mind, not going for dresses with to much fabric unless the bodice can slender your frame. You can never go wrong with the top try picking silk tops with unique antique buttons. Either way you can look put together with any vintage pieces that fits your body type.

What’s great about vintage consignment shops in DC, NY or LA you’ll never find the same dress twice!…So you’ll be the only one with that vintage piece…cool right?!?! Right now, vintage has become more acceptable to wear and shop for.
