Wearing your African Print

 Photographer: Seda

What I Wore

Who What Wear: Top

Apar Designs: Pants

Forever21: Jacket

Louiseetcie: lace up heels

SugarFix: Earrings

I had the opportunity five years ago to be in  Baltimore Fashion Week.

I made these pants called ‘African nights.’ After making these pants, I realized I should continue making more pants like this. Normally, I don’t see pants, especially African print, that have color blocking. It’s an art of designing and making it work. Having to think what will work together, what won’t work

together is key. It’s all about experimenting with prints.
I definitely would take off the buttons making them black buttons or black and gold buttons. Wait. Pause. I may not done designing! (LOL) In the end, it’s all about having fun making the clothes.

My line is called Apar designs that gears to women who want bold African prints but still want to do be that modern African women. For me I choose to wear neutral palette with my ‘African nights’ pants and my lace up heels. Which really work well together.

I want to know, Would you wear these pants?

My Bed Side Candle

Every girl needs a candle by their bed side for many reasons.
The main one being relaxation. Oh, how the scent of Lavender Rosemary gets me settled in for the night. It also helps me in the morning. If you are a person who likes to mediate, journal, or just reminisce on the days events then a bed side candle is a must for you.

Floral ✖️Cap

What I Wore:
Who What Wear: Dress & Pants
H&M: Tank
Marc Fisher: Sandals

I wore this floral dress from Who What Wear. This dress is so versatile. I wanted to get creative so I opened up the dress and made it a open cardigan! Not only can I mix up how I were it, I can wear it for every season! If I wanted to wear it during Winter, I can add a long sleeve underneath.

As you have probably noticed, I love adding funk to my outfits. This time around, I added a cap.
The tank was intimate. Dress/cardigan fun. And hat, cool. All things you wouldn’t normally pair together, but I did! I encourage you all to just try! Don’t knock it until you put it on and see for yourself. Never be afraid to mix patterns or materials.

HAVE FUN WITH YOUR OUTFITS BABES.
