I had the opportunity five years ago to be in Baltimore Fashion Week.
I made these pants called ‘African nights.’ After making these pants, I realized I should continue making more pants like this. Normally, I don’t see pants, especially African print, that have color blocking. It’s an art of designing and making it work. Having to think what will work together, what won’t work
together is key. It’s all about experimenting with prints.
I definitely would take off the buttons making them black buttons or black and gold buttons. Wait. Pause. I may not done designing! (LOL) In the end, it’s all about having fun making the clothes.
My line is called Apar designs that gears to women who want bold African prints but still want to do be that modern African women. For me I choose to wear neutral palette with my ‘African nights’ pants and my lace up heels. Which really work well together.
I want to know, Would you wear these pants?
Until next time,
