Hello Happy Wednesday! I’m finally back from blogging great break!!!!! I went to #NYFW two weeks ago. I feel like I’m a veteran of #NYFW as my third time going I’ve learned so much. Starting the process of writing fifty pitch letters to all the designers showing this season…to not getting no response….. to getting we have no space to accommodate your request, really?!?!…. to getting into a few shows…..A lot of rejections but still having a good experience regardless!
DAY:1 I got off the bus trying to make my first show (what was I thinking carrying all my luggage). I didn’t make it by the time I got there the show was over..errrr! So, I reserved an apartment on airbnb. When I arrived getting there realizing my photograph and I (follow him on instagram @carltonhartimages) we’re in the wrong apartment cause we had the same key as the tenant (Definitely use airbnb minus this incident I’ve had good encounters. Seriously if your literally traveling in the US or worldwide you can find a spacious apartment for your stay).
The evening was spent with fashion bloggers @mari2style, @loveabike @carltonhartimages going to 14th Street-Union Square finding some food in Whole Foods. I love meeting new people that was my first time meeting these two bloggers they very entertaining and interesting…so full of life! Our experience together was extremely interesting but feeling comfortable with them for the first time was a good thing….I felt like I could tell them anything. We hanged out at a club cause we couldn’t get into Stevie Boi show, I guess he’s getting too popular now! Leaving and heading on the train for a couple hours due to single tracking. What a day!!!
See you next time for DAY 2!

PURPLEMATIC…..

Photos by: Jeff Beal
WHAT I WORE:
Forever 21: Jacket
Gap: Jeans
Vintage: Shoes
Eleventh Avenue: Necklace
Mac Cosmetics: :Lip Color
Happy Thursday! So I decided to do an experiment. Honestly, I wanted to be more causal by wearing this plain pastel pink tee. I didn’t want the look to be plain….so I decided to revamp my tee by cutting the slits on the sides. It’s a cool way to change a look up. My look is about dressing up a plain tee and making it more sophisticated.
TIP: If your looking for more of a comfortable outfit you can pair causal pieces with more polished pieces such as a leather jacket, long blazer, or tailored vest to give the look more of a funky look! Definitely add a cool accessory to bring your look together!
Enjoy!
See you next time!

Happy Wednesday! I know it’s been so long since my last post. A much needed break, it gave me some direction for my blog. Sometimes I don’t feel any inspiration to write. I don’t want to be a robot…seriously!?!?! Don’t get me wrong, I love blogging but it should be more than what it seems. I want to add more of my creativity side to the blog. So stay tuned…oh yeah and I’m back!?!?
Yeah, it’s fashionable to wear a top and a pair of pants of the same print in one look. Old school, right!?!?
I remember when my mom would dress my sisters and I….in a matching pastel sweat suit. I guess my childhood repeats itself. When having a difficult time finding that perfect look my go-to is the matchy-matchy trend. I decided to go for a comfy look playing with all my blues that compliment one another. It’s essential to play with your colors especially if you’re afraid of bold prints, neons, or floral…stay with what you know.Wearing all one color can be sophisticated depending on whether you dress it up or down. Regardless, you’ll look extremely put together!!!!
See you next time!

As much as I have to do #sleepingallday is not an option. We forget that no time should be wasted throughout our day. #sleepingallday needs take a backseat…well till I retire in 30+ years..hehehe…I wanted to keep my look causal and definitely play with the grey or gray? compliments..Just realized that Shades of Grey is coming out February 14th, the movie seems intriguing and freaky at the same time..if you know what I mean?.hahahaha. Anyway back to my outfit, So I wanted to keep this look comfy and pick all the grey or gray items that I have in my closet. I love wearing matchy & matchy colors but in an artistic way. I hope you enjoy the look!
How do you wear your greys or grays?

For this look, I went for a vintage inspired…I got this jacket from a vintage consignment shop pairing with a forever21 dress & buttoned-up top and shoemint mary-janes. To create vintage looks definitely add color to give the look some life. Pairing the looks by wearing an updated dress or pants that brings the look together.

Hello Happy Wednesday! I hope your doing well! I got this plaid crop top in Williamsburg, NY at a vintage store. Plaid anything is perfect for this fall season. You definitely don’t need to try too hard……plaid has mostly every color imaginable that will go with most looks. I choose to wear my plaid top with a white skirt and since it’s getting breezy outside I decided to pair it with a moto jacket.

ALL WHITE…

 Photos by: Jeff Beal
WHAT I WORE:
H&M: Top
Vintage: Vest
JustFab: Bags & Pumps
Forever21: Accessories
Revlon: Eye & Lip Make-up

Happy Wednesday! All-white clothing trend has been worn during the Spring/Summer seasons. I wore this look before it got way too cold. I’m loving the white trend and the simplicity of the white look. This trend is wearable for daytime looks, I adore the idea of wearing all-white for evening. All-white daytime look by adding black tights to a white dress or for evening by adding a pop of color with red lip. I choose to wear this look with slack pants with a more tailored buttoned up top and chiffon vest, and keeping shoes & accessories neutral! And of course wearing red lip gives this more of a funky look!

How do you wear the All-White Trend?
See you next time!
