How to wear a detailed jacket? This jacket is like no other kind of jacket. What to remember is wearing a detailed jacket work with the colors that are in the jacket. There’s too many possible color combinations!?!?! Go for solid colors no prints it will make this look to busy. Depending on the colors you choose pair it with complimentary shades.I like this trend because if you want to add a little spark to your wardrobe definitely add a detailed leather jacket. You don’t need to try to hard by adding to your look! I got this cool detailed jacket at zaful for $35 which is such a reasonable buy. Anyone can get this detailed leather jacket anywhere, don’t miss out on this trend!!!!

Hello Happy Thursday! Do you feel like sometimes you need to reinvent your style? I got this cool matchy-matchy peplum top and pencil skirt at Kmart…Yes Kmart! I wanted to wear this look for a long time but didn’t have the right shoes to go with this look…. I think we underestimate the things we can find in reasonable price stores. I’m all about a bargain this look cost me under $40. What I’ve learned when reinventing your style don’t try to hard. I would actually wear this look. All I changed were the shoes. I’m telling you the shoes really make an outfit. If I decided to wear black shoes this look would look completely different. I’m glad I paired this look with my doll kills clear blue booties which I got for $58. I feel I can wear these shoes with anything. Clear booties are in because you can practically wear any shade except brown unless it’s tan or camel…that’s the only exception. 

So here’s to reinventing yourself!!!!

Hello Happy Thursday!!! When you realize that you exercise way too much that you’re not taking off your comfy nike sports bra. Honestly, I work out every single day the only day off I give myself is Sunday..I mean I need to rest!!! On the blog, I’m starting a new series called #fitwithfitsonme it’s all about my fitness journey. How I make it a apart of my lifestyle. Before, I use to look frumpy and unhealthy. I try to stay away for my starches and carbs it makes me bloated…I eat healthier foods for breakfast oatmeal with chia seeds and almond butter my favorite. I stay away from rice and eat more salads, avocados, and anything green!!!..man it’s so hard but I’m getting use to it!

Inspiration for my look: I was looking at other bloggers wearing crop tops and bras. I was saying to myself, I feel a little confident in wearing my sports bra out! It’s so fashionable that I can get away with it wearing it as a top. I’m just showing my stomach…and I’m not 100% fit yet but I’m almost there. But I’m getting there each day cause I’m telling you it’s a process just to be fit. I’m at point where I’m just on feeling good than looking good because that will come afterwards…right!?!?! It’s take time, dedication, and motivation. Ultimately looking your best is really how you feel. I think I feel better than how I was 2 months ago when I was depressed and sad about life and the way I looked. I’m advocate of working out and being consistent in doing so…don’t talk about it be about it…Guess what with patience you’ll get to your goal weight!!!

Happy Monday! While I was up in NYC for Fashion Week, I was able to attend the Essence Streetstyle Block Party. The essences block party is all about showing your individuality and exploring the uniqueness of yourself. A lot of the attendees come out to these block parties to meet and mingle with other Afrocentric minded-individuals. I love that it brings unity to not just African American but other races that attend as well. It makes such a diverse atmosphere and I would attend every year. I was able to shop, take some photos, eat, and meet other unique individuals. 

I would recommend attending next September 2017!

Hello Happy Friday! As NYFW is over the trends the fashion the looks..are still coming. II tend to be very conservative not really showing too much skin or wearing things out of the ordinary…I decided to switch up my look but adding these clear booties…let me tell you they we’re a hit…My go to is wearing all black by adding a pop of color really gives my look a booster…because what if i wore all black with black pumps the look would look blah…I think it’s good switch up your look not wearing the same thing every single time…

Definitely try wearing different kind of shoes with your look!?!?!

Hello! Happy Monday! I know you all have been waiting for photos from NYFW. Honestly, I had a good time in New York. It was crazy going to shows back-to-back. I feel like every time I go to NYC I come back with fashion inspiration. The fashion was on point a lot of earth tones, sequins, and micro florals for this coming fall. These are some of the trends I wouldn’t mind incorborating in my wardrobe!!!!!!

I’m totally into bringing back the menswear with the long maxi skirts it has a sophisticated appeal! I know I would wear to work menswear blazer and the matchy-matchy tailored sets it makes you look put together without trying to hard!?!?! Let’s not forget the liquid silver trend it brings an disco feel but it’s so fun and edgy.  Go long or go home with extra long sleeves are so 80’s I’m loving the flared or bell sleeves it’s good to add a different flare to your look instead of wearing a tailored button-up top. Some of the pieces of the runway I couldn’t wear but key pieces you really can add to wardrobe. Remember it’s all about adding to your wardrobe instead of being a trendy bee!?!?!
