BEAUTY IS WITHIN…..
WHAT I WORE: H&M: Jacket I Unknown: Jeans I Old Navy: Shirt I Target: Booties I Unknown: Bag I Forever 21: Bracelets
“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”
Happy Friday!!! This quote from Audrey Hepburn touched my heart when I read it. One thing I can say about myself is that I am a truly passionate person. When I care about something/someone, I put my all in it and I am never half-hearted. This concept can be overwhelming for some people because zeal/passion is hard to find, if it is not done for selfish purposes. Also, I would like to add that the definition of beauty is very narrow. Beauty is not so much your outer appearance (i.e. someone looks you in the eyes and for a brief moment you can see into the depths of their soul). The beauty in this is that you open yourself up and you are vulnerable to making a real connection.
I put this outfit together and never considered that the weather would mess up my hair! It surely got crazy/bushy looking and I even started to worry. Then I thought…who cares, I am thankful to have hair. This post made me realize that things are not always set in stone. You have to be willing to adapt to different things and still be able to work it! I know this sounds cheesy, but true beauty is within. What are your thoughts?

METALLIC JUST GOLDEN…..
WHAT I WORE: H&M: Pants I Rock & Republic: Sweater I Vintage: Buttoned-Up I Rack & Room: Booties I Forever 21: Bracelets I Monkee’s: Necklace I Dooney & Bourke: Satchel Bag
Wrapped in its beauty with a ribbon and a bow
deception is the veneer of what you don’t know
and unless your imagination is completely denied
it’s a package so pretty but empty inside!
Happy Friday! I hope your getting ready for the weekend! As you know, the metallic sweater has been a new addition to the fashion world. Critics have ostracized this type of sweater for being very uncomfortable, stiff, and bulky. I admit that it can be a little itchy; however the solution is to add a shirt underneath. Frankly speaking, I just love how rich this sweater looks. This metallic style is very similar to the sparkly trend in the way it brightens up your outfit. The looks for this particular sweater are endless. You can pair it with black straight legs or even booties. I opted for a funky look with just a dab of color by adding emerald greens and or oranges to compliment the gold sweater. Also, I wore a comfy button-up shirt underneath to alleviate the scratchiness of the sweater. I definitely would recommend the undergarment otherwise you might suffer. Well…what is that famous cliché? Beauty is pain.

Happy Friday! I hope your getting ready for the weekend! So, snake skin products have been around in fashion for decades. This trend has been currently expanding with different apparel such as snake skin shoes and also being displayed in many popular fashion clothing lines. I know that I when I was younger, I thought that snakeskin was so tacky, but now it is really growing on me. It adds such a cool appeal that can be infused with any outfit.
I love this snake skin boot that I paired with neutral colors. The boot is different in a chic way because it is not all snake skin. This must-have boot represents cool, funky, and retro style. You definitely need to add snake skin to your wardrobe. I recommend moderation; less is definitely more. High end fashion is always separated from ostentatious looks 🙂 . Would you rock the snake skin bootssssssssssss? LOL!

WHAT I WORE: Forever 21: Blazer I Rue 21: Chiffon Top I Vintage: Pants I EGO Vanity: Lace Booties I Forever 21: Clutch I Rue 21 : JC Bubble Necklace I Ralph Lauren: Glasses
Happy Saturday! It has been such a long week, but I made it though. I can honestly say fashion is my therapy, which is second to my relationship with God. There have been times when I feel down and I put a great outfit on and I instantly feel better! Colors can especially change your mood from 5% to 110%. Also, wearing the right size is essential. I know when I wear particular pants that are too tight; it makes feel angry and uncomfortable. Good circulation is so important because you need to find pants that fit and flatter your body type.
This professional outfit really changed my mood. This colorful zig-zag chiffon top is very unique and is alternative to the striped shirts. These wide leg pants are so comfortable and I love the high waist which gives me more curves (News flash: These pants can be worn with anything!) I did not want to wear a black cardigan or blazer, I’m glad I opted for this neutral blazer. I had to add a little bit more color as my outfit was simple. I added this red clutch as a cute accessory. I know that my fashion therapy is to wear things that flatter me, fits my body type, and wear colors that change my mood. Do you think that wearing certain clothing or colors can really change your mood?
